Political Vitriol + Christian Love = ????

First off let me say this, I love America. The freedoms we have been blessed with are amazing and I truly believe that we are privileged to live in the greatest country on Earth. With that being said let me also say that I hate our political landscape. As a Christian I find it difficult sometimes to navigate the waters of our politics, both inside and outside of the church. I have been having trouble putting what I think and feel into words on this subject, but to today I came across an article that I though described it perfectly. 7 Things Christians Need to Remember About Politics by Bryan Roberts is a great read for Christians and every other American this time of year. The tagline on the article says it all, “How to be in the world, not of the world, in a culture of political vitriol.” If you’re having a hard time with this political season or maybe there is a little tarnish on your witness due to politics, read it, you will be glad you did.
